The Gut Health Test provides a comprehensive assessment of microbially-derived metabolites commonly elevated in children with autism spectrum disorder and are indicative of abnormal bacteria and yeast. It also provides a measurement of gluten and casein peptides, which if detected suggest that they are not being digested and should be avoided.

The Autism Screening Test is based on the Microbially-Derived Metabolite SystemTM (MDM SystemTM), and reports the number of MDMs which are extremely elevated (above the level of any typically-developing child), including several MDMs not included in the Gut Health Test. A score of one or more extremely-elevated MDMs indicates a positive result. Approximately 85% of children with ASD have a positive score, vs. 0% of typically-developing children.
